Under President Joe Biden’s parole system—which targets illegal aliens from Venezuela, Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras—up to 30, 000 migrants per month who would n’t normally qualify for a visa may use a U. S. government app on their cellphones to gain parole and either cross the border or fly into the United States, according to The Daily Signal.
They are therefore eligible to work and be given a Social Security number, according to that statement. According to Cleta Mitchell, director of the Election Integrity Network, “it just significantly increases the number of Social Security numbers for people who are not here legally.”
The Social Security Administration is under the obligation to inform states that just because someone receives a Social Security number does n’t mean they are a citizen.
However, a Social Security number may be used by people who registers to voting under a Help America Vote Act provision of the US Constitution. The final four digits of a Social Security number can also be used as voter identification on absent or mail-in votes in some states.  , The citizenship status of those providing the Social Security numbers would n’t be known by local voter registrars, Mitchell noted.
” The Social Security Administration ought to be aware of whether or not they are parolees or what their position is. They should understand that and share that with the state”, Mitchell, even a senior legal brother at the Conservative Partnership Institute, told The Daily Signal. The Social Security Administration may break those numbers up so that the final four digits can be verified by the states.

A person who has been granted temporary lawful status in the United States and has been granted work authorization from the Department of Homeland Security receives a Social Security card that reads, “VALID FOR Labor ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION,” according to Social Security Administration director Nilsa Henriquez.
” Under the Help America Vote Act, when a voter registrant does not have a driver’s license, states are permitted to submit the voter registrant’s name, date of birth, and last four digits of their Social Security number ( SSN) to SSA for verification”, Henriquez told The Daily Signal in an email.
Henriquez continued,” Social Security provides the validation to the requesting position through the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators ‘… AAMVAnet network.” ” We created the Help America Vote Verification ( HAVV ), which provides real-time verification of the submitted information, including the name, date of birth, and last four digits of the SSN, as well as an indication whether our records show the individual as deceased,” said HAVV.
This verification “does n’t provide citizenship information”, nor does it give “authority to provide the requesting state citizenship information”, she said.
