However, since the enactment of the 1952 Armed Forces Reserve Act, there have been at least a dozen calls for the National Guard by presidents, including regarding campus issues like integration in 1963, as the Chicago Tribune pointed out during President Donald Trump’s administration.
As Biden has shown he has tempered America’s support for Israel, Bream said,” We all know the president is, in history, has sent the National Guard in on campuses where there is trouble into riots.” Why are you not helping the students who are having something so precious taken from them if you’re going to say you’re the party of law and order and the rule of law?” they should start talking about.
