On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s” Real Time”, host Bill Maher said that many of the campus demonstrators do n’t know what they’re talking about and” a lot of the problem” is schools teaching ridiculous classes like Harvard’s course on Taylor Swift.
Don Lemon, a former CNN host, claimed that” some” of the protesters are bigots and that “many of them do n’t have the information they need because they’re getting their news from TikTok …and they do n’t have the information history of what is happening.”
Lemon added,” But some of the kids out there, a lot of them are Israeli children. … There’s an age difference when I talk to them, … the young people believe a certain manner, a sure thing about what’s happening in the battle on Gaza and towards Israel. What causes the disconnect, I do n’t know. It would be exciting for older people, especially older Zionists and younger Jews to lay down and figure it out, but it’s very interesting, to me, this time space that is going on”.
Maher responded,” Well, Harvard is teaching a program, I read…this year in Taylor Swift. I think that’s a lot of the problem is that there’s an actual program”.
Maher added that students are receiving foolish ideas from their professors and that” the kids do n’t seem to know what they’re protesting for. And added that the protests happening during final examination is a little strange.
