AUSTIN, Texas — Seth Greenwald, who hopes to student in May from the University of Texas School of Law, is a wealthy veteran of the October 7 , Hamas attack on Israel. During the brutal assault, which claimed the lives of almost 1,200 Israelis, Greenwald described his travels there. During a pro-Palestine show on the school’s campus earlier this week, Greenwald claimed in a video interview that he had been spit on twice and that he had been told to “go back to Poland.”
Greenwald described seeking shelter in the movie as Hamas launched thousands of rockets at Israel earlier on October 7 and described how to defend themselves. He immediately realized that his views were n’t as bad as those of his friends who attended the Nova music event. Greenwald claims that there were a number of murder near his home, but he was lucky to escape.

Greenwald spoke about the lack of civility toward Jewish students at the University of Texas school the day before during the pro-Palestine protest organized by the Palestine Solidarity Committee on Thursday evening. Almost 60 protesters were detained and charged with unlawful trespassing after an order to separate given by school officials was ignored. According to college officials, about half of the pro- Palestine demonstrators were no students at the university. Most criminal cases were dismissed on Thursday due to errors in probable cause documents, according to Travis County prosecutor Delia Garza.

When asked how the Anti-Defamation League ( ADL ) and other antisemitic organizations had responded to demonstrations taking place on college campuses across the country, Greenwald responded that he was not satisfied with the response. According to Greenwald, more must be done.
Although there were still large tensions between the team of Israeli supporters and a number of few counter-protesters like Greenwald, who were present to support Israel, interactions between the two groups and school law enforcement officers were much more subdued than they did on the first day of demonstrations.

A group of roughly 300 pro-Palestine demonstrators gathered at the school ‘ main plaza near the University of Texas building as Greenwald spoke to Breitbart Texas. The cluster, some waving Arab colors and wearing the Egyptian keffiyeh, carried evidence that read” Clean Palestine” as they moved about the main plaza. More than 100 others staged signs emblazoned the George Washington monument that read” Support YOUR Community, No Cops” on the verdant place close to the building.
