Shannon Watts, a gun-grabbing thief in the Turks and Caicos, is currently serving a 12-year jail sentence for a second American gun owner.
The gentleman, 31- year- ancient Tyler Scott Wenrich of Virginia, traveled to the island of Grand Turk while aboard a boat fleet. While passing through a security checkpoint, however, he was found to be in ownership of weapons weapons. No great.
According to Queen City News, Turks and Caicos has laws that could lead to 12-year minimum prison sentences, while U.S. incidents involving weapons in airport security checkpoints typically result in a good.
Wenrich did presumably remain in custody until a hearing on June 7.
The only positive thing is that his employer, Blanton Marchese of Emergency Services Solutions Inc., the CEO and president, has his up.
” What I’ve learned over the past 30 years in public health is that in every problem, there lies an option for joy and resilience”, Marchese told EMS1. ” Given Tyler’s regular presentation of both elements, I hope that his position will be resolved with fairness and justice”.
The terrible announcement is firearm- grabbers like Watts, the leader of Moms Demand Action, and her followers/supporters appear to be seeking his head:
Two separate cases of American men being detained for carelessly bringing ammunition into their luggage, something that other nations do n’t take very seriously. https ://t.co/nEpx0og0ja

I’m happy they wo n’t be here for a while, and I hope we do n’t waste taxpayer money on attempting to release them.

Wenrich is n’t alone. Another collection of British gun owners, 40- year- ancient Ryan Watson of Oklahoma and his wife, Valerie, were even facing the exact 12- year sentence for bringing four rounds of hunting ammo to the Turks and Caicos.
” The Watsons were in Turks and Caicos with several people celebrating some of their brother’s 40th birthday”, a GoFundMe for Watson reads. When they attempted to travel home, they were forced to flee because local airport security discovered four rounds of ammunition accidentally in a duffel bag from a moose hunting trip.
” It was not noticed by TSA when leaving America. Today, they are facing a legal structure that is new, tough, and costly that operates differently than the American Justice System”, the GoFundMe continues.
Speaking with the Daily Mail, Watson said he and his family were subjected to a “terrifying investigation” following their imprisonment.
” It was all very intimidating”, he said.
Nevertheless, Valerie claimed to be completely lost when she learned that they would be serving a 12-year prison sentence.
” When I heard that, I immediately was terrified because I was like, we ca n’t both be in prison for 12 years”, she said. ” We have kids at home. And this is such an innocent mistake that we did n’t even know we were n’t – we did n’t even know it was there. But yeah, my urgent consideration was our children and them being, you know, part for, for that long”.

The good news is that Valerie’s claims have since been dropped. The bad news, of course, is that the claims against her husband still remain.
Despite that, Oklahoma Governor Watson and his family have a close relationship. Kevin Stitt, who endorsed them in a letter to the Turks and Caicos Islands authorities.
” I am writing to vouch for the characters of Mr. Ryan and Valerie Watson, who are presently detained in your state”, the letter reads. The Robinsons are devoted supporters of their community and the state of Oklahoma, and I can tell you that many people will accept the same high moral standards as them.
” Like many in Oklahoma, Mr. Watson is an avid outdoorsman. From a younger age, we are taught how to properly apply and carry firearms. To the extent Mr. Watson possessed weapons, it would have been due to an accidental monitoring, no an purposeful attempt to break the rules. The Robinsons are excellent Oklahomans, and their kids and neighborhood need them home shortly”, the letter continues.
Like Wenrich, Watson will remain on the island until at least until June 7. He is currently residing at a cheap AirBnB while awaiting his court day, according to reports that he has officially bailed himself out of jail.
According to a GoFundMe update,” He is mandated to the beach while awaiting his next court looks scheduled for June 7th.”
