Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, made a fresh appeal to the global community to get up and install more air defenses, began official negotiations with his country to join NATO, and invite Ukraine to join NATO.
Following the Congress ‘ approval of a$ 61 billion aid package on April 23 and subsequent months of delays, Ukrainian forces are now in worse shape in the east and are awaiting US weapons delivery. Zellenskyy has constantly pressed for additional air defense systems, particularly the Patriot program.
Zelenskyy stated that he had just spoken with Hakeem Jeffries, the leader of the US House majority, and that the aid package should be passed. However, he added that Ukraine was working with all partners to ensure that Ukraine could preserve its positions and stop Russia from waging a war.
In his weekly videos address on Sunday, he said,” We are still waiting for the products Ukraine was promised.” We anticipate readings and reach that will alter the Ukraine’s interests and the scenario on the battlefield.
He added,” In my conversation with Mr Jeffries, I underscored that Patriot methods are needed, and as soon as possible”.
Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine had met all requirements for the start of EU membership, and that the Union had now fulfill its obligations.
Ukraine is a member to join the 27-member European Union, but the process will take decades. It has received solid support from most Western countries since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of its place two years ago.
Zelenskyy stated that every nation that shares common values and is ready to defend them “deserves an offer to the empire” upon joining the Nato defense empire, which US secretary of state Antony Blinken said on April 4 Ukraine had gradually visit.
He cited a pending peace conference scheduled for June 15 and 16 in Switzerland as a source of optimism about the prospects for harmony. Russia has rejected any such conference as irrelevant without Moscow’s participation and is not invited to the collecting.
