Russell Brand, a comedian and actor from Hollywood, confirmed that he had promised to be baptized as a Christian on Sunday.
Before officially announcing the walk,  , Brand, who was formerly Buddhist, said he saw , baptism , as an option” to die and get reborn”.
He announced that his Christian faith was now full by taking to X to make the statement:

In 2023, Brand , underscored , his need for God in his career, insisting that without Him, he” may cope in this world”.
” I need spirituality”, the 48- yr- ancient told Fox News host Tucker Carlson. ” I need God, or I may cope in this world”.
” As much as I may enjoy the feeling of pleasure and luxury”, the , Forgetting Sarah Marshall , sun told Carlson,” I remember what truth is”.
