A Vienna- based protection campaign group said Monday it may file a complaint against ChatGPT in Austria, claiming the “hallucinating” flagship Artificial tool invents incorrect answers, which creator OpenAI never right. NOYB (” None of Your Business” ) said there was no way to guarantee the programme provided accurate information. ChatGPT continues to hallucinate, and not even OpenAI you stop it, according to the group.
The company has explicitly acknowledged it may correct inaccurate data from its conceptual AI tool and has failed to disclose where the data comes from and what information ChatGPT holds about users, according to the group.
Because EU law requires the accuracy of personal data, NOYB argued, these errors are undesirable for details about people. Instead of telling users that it does n’t have the necessary data, ChatGPT “repeatedly provided incorrect information” about the birth date of NOYB founder Max Schrems, according to the group.
