Jelly Roll, a country music sensation, traveled up to the Nashville juvenile detention facility where he once spent time to start a new music program to assist inmates in finding their artistic voices.
Other country music stars ERNEST and Jeffrey Steele, a Nashville Hall of Fame musician, assisted with the opening.
On April 18, a gathering that included Nashville mayor, Freddie O’Connell ( D), and other country music artists was the Jelly Roll kick off the opening of a series of new studios.
Jelly Roll spoke about his own day spent at the Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center.
” When I was in infantile, we always got a customer. We always had a leader, nothing actually came to see us”, he said, according to a Country Then statement. ” I have a vision in mind, and this is only the beginning,” says the author,” to be able to come up in these terms.”
Jelly Roll collaborated with the Beat of Life Organization, a Nashville-based non-profit that aims to develop music and music plans for underprivileged people all over the country, for the entry.
Casey LeVasseur, the panel chairman, confirmed to Breitbart News that Beat of Life did regularly function in the juvenile detention facility.
” We are going into the JDC two times a week to function in the producers. We are providing audio output education, music classes, writing and workshop time as well as music business classes to those interested to help guide, coach and encourage the participants”, she said.
We will also be producing music for the system and providing song coaching for the individuals when they graduate from the JDC.
At the beginning, Jelly Roll and country music superstar ERNEST performed alongside Jeffrey Steele, who is Casey’s parents. Steele and an inmate also collaborated on one of the statistics.

Steele also contributed to the sponsorship of The Alex LeVasseur Memorial Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, his mother’s charitable organization.
Jelly Roll officially expressed emotion during the occasion.
” I never would have dreamed when I was sitting right there that I would one time return and partner with the Beat of Life, all these artists may show up to support the trigger, and the stupid president would present me.” I would never guess this”, Jelly Roll said.
” It was n’t in my bingo card in life”.
