Early on Tuesday night, anti-Israel activists from an encampment at Columbia University took control of an operational tower.
Anti-Israel protesters were seen carrying barricades into Hamilton Hall, an educational building on the school’s school, in video film posted to X.

Within Our Lifetime ( WOL ) Palestine posted an announcement on its Telegram channel calling for the campus ‘ anti-Israel encampment to be protected.
Following administration threats this morning, student organizers have posted a message to everyone to travel to Columbia TONIGHT to support the camp.
Another video posted to X showed pro- Israel protesters smashing the glass windows of Hamilton Hall, as individuals may be heard singing,” Disclose. Divest. We will not cease, we will not sleep”.

The pro-Palestinian protesters ‘ invasion of Hamilton Hall comes after the school announced it was leave-encampment/”>suspending pupils after previously asking protesters in the anti-Israel camp to depart by 2:00 p.m.
On April 17 a first camp was set up on Columbia University’s campus. Numerous students were suspended the following morning, and thousands of protesters were detained.

Columbia University had removed the original camp, but since then, it has returned.
Since the start of the camp at Columbia University, others have been established at the University of California Los Angeles, Yale University, Harvard University, George Washington University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, among others.
Breitbart News reached out to Columbia University for a speech, but it was too late to respond back by the time of release.
