During a trip to Atlanta, Vice President Kamala Harris vehemently denounced the willful prejudice against bright Americans.
Harris traveled to Georgia on Monday for the first stop on her” Nationwide Economic Opportunity Tour,” an equity tour that will target black groups in several battleground states, in accordance with the Washington Examiner. President Biden is reportedly hemorrhaging black voters.
After attending a presentation at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, a volunteer “business machine” assisting dark business owners in Atlanta, Harris” took part in a controlled discussion in College Park on the administration’s ‘ continued ‘ efforts to promote financial equity, the newspaper reported.
It was here that Harris rejected the deserved condemnation of variety, equity, and inclusion activities.
” In spite of those who in certain parts of our country want to attack DEI, we understand that you ca n’t truly invest in the strength of our nation if you do n’t pay attention to diversity, equity, and inclusion,” she stated”. Be pleased of your passion, have passion, desire with passion. Do n’t ever feel like other people ca n’t see what is possible. Do n’t let that burden you.”
Christopher Rufo, a board member of the New College of Florida, has almost solely spearheaded a nationwide campaign to end DEI applications and regain white justice in public colleges. He has argued that La plans serve as “different intellectual commissariats,” promulgating and enforcing Crucial Race Theory and related social dogmas as official school policies.
In a , type policy he published with Manhattan Institute colleague Ilya Shapiro, Rufo more states that DEI offices” restrict academic diversity, prevent equal opportunity, and remove anyone who dissents from a firm orthodoxy.”
Here’s more from Rufo on the subject:
Marxism:” From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”
DEI:” From each according to his ability, to each according to his race, gender, and sexuality.”

The ideal way to think of DEI is as a system of racial spoils, where one group is made the target and denied the full protection of the state and the institutions.

While in Atlanta, Harris highlighted Biden’s efforts to reduce barriers to purchasing homes, saying homeownership is the” most effective way to build intergenerational health,” the Examiner reported.
She cited the GI Bill, which authorized home loans after World War II, and claimed that the way it was implemented resulted in black veterans not receiving” an equal share of these loans.”
Harris urged those present to support the administration’s efforts to essentially buy votes by pushing its agenda for forgiveness of student loans and medical debts.
” I guess that gets to the heart of this tour and everything else we’re doing,” she said”. Folks, in a lot of situations, just do n’t know what’s available to them, and I need the help of the leaders who are here to get the word out so people know what is available to them.”
