According to court documents obtained by KTSM, a 20-year-old gentleman is now facing a murder charge in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred a few days after Christmas in 2022.
Brandon Alexis Garcia, 20, is charged with murder in the death of De Llamas Chavez, 35.
Chavez was tragically shot outside the 11/11 Bar at 1441 Zaragoza on Dec. 28, 2022. He was booked into El Paso County Jail on a$ 150, 000 friendship on Saturday, April 27.
The prey had been drinking with friends at the table, and when they left as a group, he was shot by someone with a rifle in the parking lot, according to the affidavit.
According to documents obtained by KTSM, Garcia is not the sniper. But, records claim he was ordered to pick up the alleged shooters by a Juarez resident and is a member of a legal business involved in human trafficking.
In court records, the alleged guns were not given a name in court records.
Authorities said they could not launch a mugshot at this time for research purposes, despite the request from KTSM. No additional prosecutions have been made at this time.
