The governor of New Mexico is allegedly ignoring the immigrant and fentanyl crisis that is occurring on her doorstep.

SANTA TERESA, New Mexico ( Frontier Report )– Democratic lawmakers on Tuesday called on New Mexico Gov. By deploying National Guard troops to the southwestern region of the state, Michelle Lujan Grisham will tackle the migrant smuggling and fentanyl smuggling problems.

A GOP group of state lawmakers and sheriffs took the call while the U.S. Border Patrol was touring a border crossing point rife with organized trafficking and encounters with migrants who were attempting to avoid being detained while not applying for hospital.

” The other three border states with Mexico have all taken the National Guard and, in one way or the other, ( place them ) along the border. According to state representative Rod Montoya, R-San Juan, the Border Patrol has informed us that the illegal immigration has been forced to look for the weak areas along the borders.

According to the Santa Teresa Border Patrol, one of the busiest in the country is where migrant contraband attempts are made.

Pirates pick up workers near the New Mexico areas of Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, which are frequently the start of prosecutions and occasionally fatal collisions. The majority of the 149 migrants who died in the Border Patrol’s El Paso Sector perished in the plains of New Mexico, according to a report from the company, as pirates left them abandoned with little food or water.

Border Patrol agents told them how traffickers are using hurt or ill workers as decoys to divert attention from larger groups of migrants who were trying to evade authorities, according to lawmakers. Another popular fake tactic used by smugglers is small, unaccompanied minors who are separated from the group.

In the upcoming special period of the government, the lawmakers said they will consider harsher express penalties for morphine traffickers.

The different states have discovered a way to affect the flow of morphine. There’s a road map that the other claims, including Gavin Newsom’s California, whom most of the time our government is quick to jump onto any policy that California pushes through. We all agree that our government should appoint the National Guard along the border, as Gavin Newsom did, in this situation.

Next September, Gov. In addition to deploying 60 California National Guard troops to four U.S. ports of entry, Newsom announced a$ 1 billion investment to combat the state’s fentanyl crisis.

Border Report reached out to the governor. Lujan Grisham’s department for post and is awaiting a reply. Lujan Grisham previously stated that she sympathized with Republican lawmakers ‘ concerns about border security but that she had urged them to urge their House counterparts to approve a nonpartisan border plan.

State Rep. Jenifer Jones, R- Eager, whose area includes more than 100 yards of U. S. borders, said Southern New Mexico areas are being targeted by international legal businesses. She said that their law police needs all the assistance they can get to stop traffickers who travel through atmosphere to Interstates 10 and 25.

San Diego is the’ center’ for unlawful immigration, state officer says

Every circular foot of the border is being watched by international groups. They are expert thieves who will utilize any boundary failure to gain power and money, and New Mexico is the weakest link and is becoming weaker without the governor’s approval,” Jones said. ” We have become the path of least resistance. The durable desert in my area is a motorway for offense, putting the lives of all New Mexicans in danger.

Jones claimed she is aware of the familial and economic relations between people living on both sides of the border. ” We depend on each other. We do n’t want a closed border, we want a secure and safe border and we want laws that hold lawbreakers accountable”, she said.

Members of the GOP committee acknowledged that passing and enforcing immigration laws is generally the responsibility of the federal government, but that state lawmakers are also required to address public safety issues that affect their communities.
