Comrade Elon: Tesla Shares Rise 15% After Sweetheart Deal with Chinese Government

Tesla’s shares increased 15 % on Monday after the electric carmaker passed a significant milestone in the development of its advanced driver-assistance technology, Full Self Driving ( FSD ) in China.

While Tesla has been offering its FSD have — an “upgrade” to its harmful Autopilot vehicle associate — in China for centuries, it has been a&nbsp, restricted type of the function.

Tesla’s property increased on Monday after the company announced to Chinese officials on Sunday that it would reduce the limits on its electric vehicles after passing China’s data protection needs, according to a report from CNBC News.

The communist government had apparently banned some of Tesla’s electronic vehicles from certain&nbsp, authorities- related qualities in China, citing data safety concerns.

Then that Tesla passed China ‘s&nbsp, data protection requirements, the company will be able to&nbsp, legally perform its FSD feature on Foreign roads, meaning Musk’s vehicles will be able to obtain information about traffic, road signs, and roads in the communist country.

Tesla has also signed a deal with Chinese internet provider Baidu that would reportedly grant Musk’s company access to the Chinese internet giant’s mapping and navigation technology.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Tesla is also expected to have access to Baidu’s mapping service license, which is necessary for intelligence driving systems to operate on public roads in China.

According to Breitbart News, Musk’s recent visit to China follows his recent visit.

On Sunday, Musk posted a photo on X, the social media platform he owns, of himself meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang, whom he described as an old friend.

When he describes himself as a proponent of free speech, Musk received a lot of slack in the responses to his post for having such a cheesy relationship with one of the world’s most authoritarian and censorious regimes. His visit to China was straightforward and had no bearing on freedom of expression: he wanted Tesla to be one of the first companies to receive official approval for its Internet-enabled autonomous driving capabilities.

China has an entity known as the&nbsp, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers&nbsp, ( CAAM ), a fusion of government regulators and industry leaders that holds an advisory and certification role with automobiles. The most recent task of CAAM, which has been in operation for decades, was to check the compliance of China’s data security laws on Internet-connected vehicles.

Elon Musk and Tesla will continue to be covered by Breitbart News.
