As the extra- Israel activists replaced the British flag with the Israeli symbol, they chanted,” From the River to the Sea” and” Free Palestine”, according to CBS17.
Therefore, according to law enforcement, Roberts began hoisting the American flag up to the flag pole’s top and was led to the center of the rear.
This caused law enforcement to use pepper spray in protest of anti-Israel activists and activists.
Prior to this, school officials had revealed that 36 demonstrators had been detained because they had failed to separate. 30 demonstrators were cited with trespass out of this number before apparently being “released on- site.”
Three kids and three others apparently face trespassing charges and were detained.
Since an original anti- Israel camp was established at Columbia University on April 17, many camps have popped up at Harvard University, Princeton University, George Washington University, New York University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of California Los Angeles , in support of the Columbia University’s camp.
Anti-Israel protesters in the encampments established at several universities and colleges have a number of demands, including a complete amnesty for protesters who have been suspended or detained, a ceasefire in Israel’s conflict with Hamas, and the US stopping arming Israel.
After Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, which left 1, 200 Israelis dying and more than 200 victims, Israel launched a self-defense activity in the Hamas-controlled province of Gaza.
The assault by Hamas saw around 3, 000 terrorists from the U. S. designated Islamic terror group invade Israel by land, air, and sea, leaving participants at a music festival dead, while another terrorists hunted down Israeli men, women, and children, subjecting some to murder, torture, and death.
