The head of the Conservative Party of Canada, &nbsp, Pierre Poilievre, was removed from issue time at the Parliament’s House of Commons on Tuesday after condemning radical leftist Justin Trudeau, branding his plans “wacko” and refusing to remove the attack.

Trudeau responded to Poilievre’s condemnation by referring to him as” spineless” and accusing him of fraternizing with” white nationalist” groups, comments for which Speaker Greg Fergus neither demanded a retraction nor expelled Trudeau from the session.

The heated exchange took place as part of a discussion about Liberal Party support for decriminalizing some drugs, especially British Columbia’s decision to pass a program decriminalizing the use of opioids, methamphetamine, cocaine, and a number of other painful drugs, including in public spaces.

The standard population of British Columbia is clamoring for the authorities to move the plan again after it was announced in May 2022. The initial 2022 program stipulated that the legalization would last three decades.

Premier David Eby of British Columbia announced last year that he would be removing a portion of the plan, which would allow police to once more halt the use of hard medicines in public.

We do not take road condition that makes areas feel unsafe, Eby asserted, “while we are caring and compassionate for those struggling with habit.”

If approved by the Trudeau authorities, the new plan will also criminalize illicit drugs in personal use.

American Mental Health and Addictions Minister Ya’ara Saks insisted on Monday that the state is also “evaluating the data” on the fatal British Columbia system and that extraordinary decriminalization plans like the one that failed in that province may get approved somewhere. Toronto’s recent request for federal government assent to stop enforcing harsh medicine legislation has sparked concern in Ontario.

” We work with jurisdictions on a circumstance- by- case basis, making certain we have a full set of tools available to help prone populations”, Saks insisted, according to the CBC. ” That includes prevention, that includes harm reduction, that includes treatment and it includes a full set of health considerations”.

On the grounds that Trudeau and other Conservatives were acting in a totally contradictory way with the expectations of the Canadian public, Poilievre and others accused him of hesitating on the recriminalization of hard drugs and putting an end to decent Canadians.

” Mr. Speaker, it is a choice for the prime minister to implement extremist policies that have taken the lives of 2, 500 British Columbians every single year”, Poilievre asserted. 22 British Columbians have died of drug overdoses, but he continues to allow those drugs to kill the people in our hospitals and on our public transportation, as the NDP has asked him to reverse course on his and the NDP’s radical policy.

When will we stop this outrageous policy adopted by the outrageous Prime Minister? the Conservative leader asked, prompting the Speaker to demand he retract the statement, on the grounds that the word “wacko” was” not parliamentary” language.

Poilievre responded by agreeing to replace “wacko” with “extremist”, then suggesting “radical” when Fergus did not accept the replacement and insisted&nbsp, Poilievre withdraw the insult entirely. &nbsp, Poilievre refused to do so, prompting his expulsion for the day. According to The CBC, other Conservative lawmakers withdrew out of the chamber as a show of support for the removal. Additionally, Conservative MP Rachael Thomas was expelled from the session separately for labeling Fergus as “disgrace.”

Trudeau did not respond to the substance of Poilievre’s objection, choosing instead to suggest the Conservative leader is a” white nationalist”.

The Conservative Party’s leader is actively seeking the backing of organizations with white nationalist ideologies. It is disturbing, and he needs to stand up and apologize now”, Trudeau demanded, calling&nbsp, Poilievre” spineless”.

In the wake of his removal, the Conservative leader has continued to accuse Trudeau of supporting “wacko” drug policies. In messages on social media, &nbsp, Poilievre has repeated that Trudeau is “refusing to ban public use of meth, cocaine, &amp, illicit fentanyl. That’s wacko”.

Four days have passed since BC requested that Trudeau outlaw illegal drugs in public.

He’s refusing to ban public use of meth, cocaine, &amp, illicit fentanyl. That’s wacko.

    — Pierre Poilievre ( @PierrePoilievre ) April 30, 2024

” Today, the Liberal speaker censored me for describing Trudeau’s hard drug policy as outrageous. 6 people dying from overdoses every day in BC is wacko”, he wrote. Kids playing with used syringes is wacko. Nursing professionals who breathe in toxic drug fumes are wacko. This is a ridiculous policy by a ridiculously stupid PM.

BREAKING: Today the Liberal speaker censored me for describing Trudeau’s hard drug policy as wacko.

Wacko, 6 people die from overdoses every day in BC.

It’s wacko to play next to used syringes to kids.

After breathing in toxic drug fumes, nurses are concerned about breastfeeding.

    — Pierre Poilievre ( @PierrePoilievre ) April 30, 2024

Trudeau’s stance on hard drug use in public is wacko.

He sees no problem in allowing addicts to smoke fentanyl in B. C. parks, playgrounds, and hospitals.

    That’s wacko.

    — Pierre Poilievre ( @PierrePoilievre ) April 30, 2024

British Columbia’s premier, Eby, appeared to support the return of a more traditional hard drug ban.

” There are important lessons to be learned on where we are to date, that do n’t need to be repeated”, he said on Monday, urging other areas like Toronto not to “repeat our mistakes”.

Addressing the public’s concern about drug use is crucial to getting people’s understanding of how to take a health approach to addiction. The CBC quoted Eby as saying,” Balancing those two things is core, and I hope other jurisdictions take that lesson and do n’t repeat our mistakes.”
