
After previous President Donald Trump praised authorities in New York for their actions toward demonstrators at Columbia University, CBS ‘ late-night artist Stephen Colbert defended the anti-Israel activists who have taken over college campuses across the country.
On Tuesday’s present, Stephen Colbert said the government should help the activists” as long as they are peaceful”. But Colbert did n’t mention that in some cases, protesters have behaved violently. Individuals at Columbia smashed through windows and doors occupying Hamilton Hall.
Protesters have prevented another students from enrolling in classes in some institutions. At George Washington University, one rebel was seen with a signal saying” Last Solution” — a reference to the Nazi’s eradication of Jews.
Colbert bypassed these occurrences during Tuesday’s category.
” Now even if you do n’t agree with the subject of their protests, as long as they are peaceful, subjects should be allowed to protest”, said Colbert. ” It’s their First Amendment right”.

Colbert even criticized the school leaders for imposing arbitrary removal of the encampments left-wing students had built in violation of school rules.
The actor claimed that college administrators are employing the tried-and-true de-escalation tactic of dispatching heavily armed police and making threats to contact the National Guard.
Colbert defended the anti-Israel demonstrations the day after former US President Donald Trump praised the NYPD’s actions in removing camps from Columbia.
Speaking to Fox News, Trump praised  ,” the approach they]NYPD] walked in” and “were not frightened of anything”.
However, anti- Israel assault continues to inflame campuses across the country.
Anti-Israel demonstrators reportedly stormed a tower close to the campus anti-Israel camp and began pushing the police line at City University of New York.
