Following days of bloody conflicts involving anti-Israel activists, law police was forced to intervene at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA ) early on Wednesday night. Following a series of aggressive tussles on Tuesday night where spear and barricades appeared to be used as weapons, the Los Angeles Police Department requested an administration-specific visit.
According to National Review, the camp began on the Royce Quad, and video showed the demonstrators beating a Jewish woman unconscious and causing a concussion. A separate incident‘s footage showed activists preventing a Hebrew student from leaving the camp on Tuesday and holding him against his will. On Monday, protesters from UCLA appeared to block a Hebrew student from attending school by lining up and blocking the student from getting inside the lecture hall’s main entrance.
” Many of the protesters, as well as register- protesters who have come to the area, have been quiet in their engagement. But, to be honest, people ‘ methods have been shocking and shameful, Block said in a statement released on Tuesday.
“UCLA supports relaxing opposition, but no engagement that impairs our ability to carry out our scientific vision and causes fear, intimidation, and fear in our society.” These instances have put some on our campus, particularly our Hebrew students, in a state of anxiety and anxiety”, he continued.
