After betraying conservative ideals and working with the Democrats to pass the President-endorsed Ukraine aid agenda, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA ) no longer serves on the Republican House majority. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY ) declared Friday.
In an unparalleled move, Johnson collaborated with House Democrats this week to compel the use of boundary safeguard funds for the Ukraine to a whole House ballot on Saturday.
- Thursday: Johnson made background by relying on Liberals on the House Rules Committee to overrule the majority’s objections and introduce a concept costs on the House floor.
- Democrats seized control of the House on Friday, assisting Johnson in passing a crucial legal snag to set up the ground vote on Saturday. Voting “yes ” were 165 Democrats and only 151 Republicans.
Democrats are now overwhelmingly voting to pass the Republican-written law, according to PBS reporter Lisa Desjardins ‘ post on X. “A show of support for Ukraine and Johnson. And very unusual. Cannot remember seeing this, like this, previously. ”

“It’s established: @SpeakerJohnson is no longer the GOP Speaker of the House, but Speaker for the Uniparty’s$ 1. 5T deficit, warrantless spying on Americans, and a foreign aid act with more deficit spending than Schumer’s resources crusher, ” Sen. Rand Paul shared a New York Times article on X on the social network.

The Times article underscored Johnson ’s decision to essentially allow Democrat House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY ) to take control of the Republican-controlled House.
Johnson ’s plan director, Dan Ziegler, was –until he joined the Speaker’s office as his best policy aide when Johnson won the Senate next year–a lawyer with the company Williams & Jensen. He had previously worked for Johnson in various capacities, but he left to start lobbying and built a customer list that included numerous leading companies, some of whom appear to have financial interests in allowing the government to pass Ukraine aid. He worked for a number of top companies for the advocacy organization he worked for. Numerous of these companies, including some that have made business statements about the conflict in Ukraine or issued press statements or other common instructions saying it might have an impact on their business operations, have been exposed by gossiping disclosures.
…
Ziegler is not the only one in Johnson ’s inner circle who has problems. Some other Johnson staff members have a number of disturbing background changes, and it’s not known whether the Speaker is informed of all of this or not. In any case, this raises serious questions about how effectively he handled significant legislative proposals, including the unusual aid plan, in front of Congress this week. It also undermines the claim that Johnson apologists are struggling to manage a one-seat majority and that things do not change if he resigned and Republicans chose a new speaker.
This Breitbart News analysis is the result of research conducted on lobbying disclosures, interviews with a number of highly connected insiders, the majority of whom may not answer questions on record for fear of reprisals, and extensive interviewing of the Speaker’s business and his personnel, including questioning of senior aides. For the first time, here is the inside story of how globalists attacked the America First action inside of Speaker Johnson’s office and how the Speaker himself authorized them to get burnt earth in attacks on any liberals and supporters of former president Donald Trump who want to hold him accountable and halt the four-pronged foreign aid plan he outlined on Monday night and introduced on Wednesday. The plan, which completely abandons border security and encourages the funneling of tens of billions more U.S. dollars, will be decided on a Saturday evening vote in the House of Representatives. S. tax dollars to foreign countries like Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. This is the most stinging for America First conservatives in the wake of the Speaker’s recent betrayals, including the most recent government funding plan and last week’s reauthorization of section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act ( FISA ) without mandating surveillance of American citizens. Despite being asked to resign by leading conservative Republicans like Reps. Johnson has tripled down in moving forward on the issue, not just completely disregarding conservatives aligned with former president Donald Trump who are openly criticizing the effort, but authorizing staff and allies like House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Rep. In order to get this radical agenda passed into Congress, Michael McCaul (R-TX ) has to attack them. McCaul, as Breitbart News reported earlier on Wednesday, launched an unhinged attack on Sen. J. D. Vance (R-OH) over Ukraine aid. McCaul is one of Johnson ’s top allies and quickly endorsed Johnson’s support for foreign aid was unintentional because he had already publicly supported it, which had not yet been made public. A day later, finally, the Speaker’s office released bill text.
