NEW DELHI: A resort in the southwestern city of Mykolaiv was severely damaged by a Russian aircraft attack, according to the governor of Ukraine’s Mykolaiv region. The hotel reportedly had English-speaking soldiers reportedly staying at the hotel while engaged in combat in Ukraine, according to Russia’s RIA media company.
” The army attacked the town with an unmanned aerial vehicle of the’ Shahed- 131/136 ‘ type”, Mykolaiv’s government, Vitaly Kim, said on the Telegram messaging software.
” As a result, a motel building was greatly damaged, a blaze broke out, which was immediately extinguished… There are no deaths”, he said.
The Russian invasion caused damage to panels at a local hotel, according to Kim and Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, and system that generates heat was likewise impacted.
Russian state news agency RIA state media reported that Russian forces had attacked a manufacturing herb and a hotel in Mykolaiv, where English-speaking mercenaries were staying during an encounter in Ukraine.
No particular details were provided, but Ukraine’s Air Force announced on Sunday on its Telegram consideration that its troops had destroyed a Russian aircraft over Mykolaiv.
Also, the air force reported the destruction of four different Russian- launched drones over different regions, including the capital Kyiv, key Vinnytsia and Kirovohrad, and western Khmelnytskyi.
