Clemson University, one of the nation’s colleges that have experienced pro-Palestine demonstrations on their campuses, was announced on Saturday.
At 9 a.m., about 35 students and residents of Upstate South Carolina gathered at Sikes Hall to show their support for the Arab reason, leading to a group of people hoisting American flags and pro-Israel indicators.
The party flying Arab flags and holding” Free Palestine” symptoms constantly chanted” From the River to the Sea”,” Israel and the USA, number one criminal in the world today” and” Joe Biden, you the n’t cover, you are funding genocide”.
Abigail Friedman, the group’s organizer, and top Clemson student Abigail Friedman, the group’s organizer, stated to The College Fix that until the university discloses its Jewish investments, it may remain on campus from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
In an interview, Friedman stated,” We want them to publish any purchases they make in Israel or the genocide.”
She added that the group hopes to impose laws on the condition government.
” South Carolina has sent a large number to Israel, and that’s another purpose we’re here is to put strain on South Carolina. I do n’t want my tax funds going to a genocide”, she said.
Clemson joined the ranks of schools with both pro-Israel and pro-America counter-protests, just like other universities north of the Mason-Dixon line, such as the University of Alabama and the University of Mississippi.
In response to the Arab show, some individuals and neighborhood people chanted” USA, USA, USA” and” America stands with Israel.”
Both town of Clemson police and Clemson college police were present.

Mark Burns, a Donald Trump- endorsed parliamentary candidate for South Carolina’s second city, attended the counter- opposition and told The Fix his team is on the” side of God”.
” We support Israel first overall. This is South Carolina. This is God’s state”, Burns said in an exam. ” And whether you’re our Jew or Christian, we stand up as united under the knowledge that Israel is God’s chosen people. The nation of Israel is God’s chosen person’s area”.
Some people honked their ears as they passed the opposition as they passed American flags out of their windows and waved their hands in support of the pro-Israel organization.
Friedman claimed that she organized the rally after Clemson’s final official day of the semester because” the next class in Gaza was bombed” because the Israeli-Palestinian issue has been continuing since October.
” So they’re then without a right to education, which is an international straight that everyone has. And they’re only being stripped of that proper”, she said.
Friedman, who is Hebrew, declined to comment on the extremist group Hamas ‘ role in the conflict.
As a Jew, she said she never” lay by while persons are being murdered”.
” The song’ from the valley to the sea ‘ means Palestine may be free”, Friedman said. ” It is just saying that Palestinians will be able to live in harmony, they will be given the same rights, they wo n’t live in an apartheid state, as they do now”.
One of the many pro-Palestine marches taking place in Clemson has now taken place. Another protests, such as people at Columbia University, the University of California at Los Angeles, and the University of Arizona, have turned violent and necessary police action, something Friedman does not agree with.
” I do n’t necessarily approve of the police’s reaction. I think it has been very harsh, has been similar to what we’ve seen in, like, 2020 with the BLM protests”, she said. Rubber bullets are ridiculous, in my opinion. Up until the police entered, the protests were peaceful.
When told that the organizer of the Clemson pro- Palestinian demonstration is a Jewish student, Burns said,” that’s like being a Christian who stands behind same- sex marriage or abortion” and that “it does n’t make sense, but that’s her right to be Jewish and to support the death of our own people”.
This week, the Biden administration said it was considering welcoming Palestinians to the U. S. as refugees, an idea Burns called” a danger to America”.
It is absurd to have more Hamas supporters who are able to hide and blend into this organization that is speaking Death to America, according to Burns. ” To see that Joe Biden wants to bring in more refugees, I think, is a danger to America”.
